Gulag

All that talk about Gulag not being an applicable term to Gitmo seems to be consistently discredited.

If you still are averse to the term Gulag, then perhaps think of this. In Paksitan, Afghanistan, Iraq, the United States, and perhaps in all other middle eastern countries. You better be good to your neighbor, otherwise he can report you to the secret American police, and you get an all expense paid trip to Gitmo. Where since you will not be tried for the crime you did not commmit, you can bank on staying for as long as Bush sees fit.

It may not be a Gulag, but it certainly is a lot like room 101.

It is a prison, that isn't secret, but realy isn't that hard to get put into. Plus once you are in, there are really no prospects of getting out.

And it all has the United States seal of approval right there at the front door. In a country by the way, that we won't even buy sugar from.

Nice.
