Q & A with Dan Froomkin

Dan Froomkin writes a great piece in WaPo today re Impeachment. At the end he asks the following questions:
"Was Bush motivated more by personal animosity toward Saddam Hussein than by a post-Sept. 11 desire to protect America from a grave threat? Did he exaggerate that threat? At what point was war inevitable?"

Inevitable? Key prefix In as in UN as in not evitable, syn. unavoidable. Apparently according to the Downing Street Minutes sometime around July 2002 would be the answer to that question.

Though around the point when UN and US weapons inspectors such as Baradei, David Kay, and Scott Ritter said there were no WMDs nor a threat therein would have been the point when the war was evitable. Notice the missing prefix.
