That's Rick Santorum's idea of gettingaway from a flimsy $5,000 fine.

Santorum used the Social Security Administration's logo in a pro-privatization presentation that was on his website.

He deserves more than a $5,000 fine but apparently thats what the law requires.

Senate Ethics Committee should get on this at the very least the GAO should get on this.

ACTION alert: Write these people a nice email.

When asked about the site a spokesperson said:

Senator Santorum's new website went live two months ago, and the slide show was not included on the new website
